Abstract
Extracts of rat small intestine were prepared in 5% trichloroacetic acid 2 hr. after the intraperitoneal injection of sodium [35s]sulphate. Ion-exchange chromatography of these extracts yielded a radioactive sulphuric acid ester that has been identified as S-sulphoglutathione. The concentration of S-sulphoglutathione in the small intestine is approx. 0. 16 [mu]mole/g. wet wt. of tissue. This publication has 20 references indexed in Scilit:
