Abstract
The diagnosis of malignant glaucoma was entertained preoperatively in a patient with no previous history of glaucoma surgery or use of miotics. The marked asymmetry in the anterior chamber depth and angle configuration between the two eyes was the significant clue. The findings at operation confirmed the diagnosis. The closure of the angle appeared to be due to retrovitreal fluid displacing the vitreous and the iris-lens diaphram forward. Keywords
