Abstract
Using hamsters as exptl. animals, a dose-response curve for the leishmanicidal activity of single doses of Na stibogluconate has been obtained. A period of 1 wk. is necessary for establishing such a curve for Sb compounds. A linear relationship exists between the log. of the dose and the log. of the ratio of parasite counts in splenic smears taken before and after treatment. Keywords
