Abstract
The nymphal stages (protonymph and deutonymph) of Varroa jacobsoni are described for the first time and the adult male is redescribed. Morphological characters for accurate recognition of these developmental stages are figured and discussed as well as significant features found in the nymphal stages that provide further support for assigning V. jacobsoni separate family status.Keywords
