Abstract
A slightly modified form of the effective interaction between quasiparticles proposed by Bardeen, Baym, and Pines, used with variational solutions of the transport equation, yields results in satisfactory agreement with recent measurements of the spin diffusion and thermal-conductivity coefficients of two dilute solutions of in at very low temperatures.
