Abstract
Sn(η-Cps)Cl [Cps=–C5Me4(SiMe2But)] reacts with SnCl2 in thf solution to yield the novel polyionic species [Sn9(η-Cps)6Cl12] 1 which is characterised by solid- and solution-state multinuclear NMR spectroscopy and additionally by a single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis.Keywords
