Abstract
In 1935 in 2 Liverpool venereal disease clinics male teenagers represented 2.7% of the clinic population and female teen-agers 9.6%. In 1960 these percentages had increased to 9.8% for males and 22.4% for females. It is concluded that "young people today are more promiscuous than their parents were a quarter of a century ago.".Keywords
