Abstract
The magnetic susceptibility of chromium has been measured from -195°C to 1440°C and is found to increase from 3.42× to approximately 4.30× emu per gram at the highest temperature. A transition is recorded in the region of 1400°C marked by a sharp increase in susceptibility and a temperature hysteresis.
