Abstract
Results of the study of nonlinear optical parameters of colloidal solutions of silver, gold, platinum, and copper by the Z-scan method are presented. The nonlinear refractive indices of these solutions at the wavelength of the Nd:YAG laser (λ=1064 nm) and its second harmonic (λ=532 nm) were measured. The two-photon absorption of these solutions and their nonlinear susceptibilities were studied. Keywords
