Abstract
Potential distributions in the superior olivary nucleus were mapped in response to ipsilateral and contralateral click stimulation. From the medial segment of the superior olivary nucleus a dipole field was recorded which reversed polarity and slightly shifted the zero isopotential on contralateral stimulation. On the basis of the anatomic arrangement the potentials of the lateral segment of the superior olivary nucleus are discussed in terms of a closed field. Keywords
