Abstract
Several writers on the history of science have argued that changes in the institutional location of science will be accompanied by several major changes in scientific attitudes and values. A sample of approximately 30 per cent of the working scientists in several disciplines was interviewed in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. Those interviewed worked in government, industrial, and university laboratories. A number of indicators of scientific attitudes and values were examined.Keywords
