Thermoelectrically regulated sample holder for Raman spectroscopy

Abstract
An easily built thermostated sample cell holder for Raman spectroscopy is described. The apparatus, which uses thermoelectric heat pumps as heating and cooling elements, is characterized by a fast response and a temperature stability at the sample of better than ±0.1 °C over the −20° to 100 °C temperature range. The desired temperature can be either selected manually or controlled by computer.
