Abstract
Temperature-sensitive mutants of polyoma virus have been examined to determine whether they are able to induce the synthesis of cellular DNA under conditions where viral gene products are defective. Two 'early' mutants, and one 'late' mutant of polyoma induce cellular DNA synthesis normally under conditions where virus growth is inhibited because viral gene products are defective.Keywords
