Relevance of receiver filter performance and operating range for CT2/CAI telepoint systems

Abstract

A computer model is used to predict the effect of the interference between calls on the telepoint operating range. Results are given for the case of an interference rejection characteristic which just meets CAI requirements, and for an improved rejection characteristic. The improved characteristic was found to give a substantial increase in operating range.
