Abstract
The botanical composition of diets of esophageally fistulated bison (Bison bison L.) was described. Differences between shortgrass pastures of different grazing intensities and among different seasons were considered. Of 36 plant species observed, only 11 contributed significantly to the total. Bouteloua gracilis was most abundant. Less abundant species were often preferred. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
