Abstract
The Software Hut (a small software house) is a software engineering project in the form of a game, designed and used by J. J. Horning and D. B. Wortman at the University of Toronto, Toronto, Ont., Canada. This paper describes some of the problems that occurred when the present authors used projects based on the Software Hut with groups of final-year undergraduate students in two successive years at the University of Liverpool, Liverpool, England. Keywords
