Abstract
Angle-resolved photoion spectroscopy has been applied for the first time to molecular fragments emitted after Auger decay following photoexcitation of the shell in the gas phase. Considerable angular distribution asymmetries of photofragments have been observed not only at the discrete resonance but also across the shape resonance.
