Abstract
Replicated tests designed to evaluate the effectiveness of 1, 2, and 3 early season insecticidal applns. both on a small plat basis and on a larger plat basis showed no significant differences in yield between the 3 treatment schedules and the control. The large plat test indicated a slightly earlier fruiting for all plats receiving early treatment than for the control plats. Small plat tests showed than an 8-day treatment interval did not compare favorably with a 4-day treatment interval under conditions of damaging boll weevil. Anthonomus grandis or bollworm, Heliothis armigera infestation. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
