Abstract
Relations between internal coordinates (bond angles, bond lengths, and rotation angles) and helical parameters of a linear macromolecule are reported. The formulas, completely valid in all cases, are derived on the basis of the eigenvalue-eigenvectors solutions of the Eyring-transformation matrix. The set of cylindrical coordinates of a right-handed a helix is reported as an exampleKeywords
