Erfolgreiche Behandlung einer Candida-albicans-Sepsis nach Nierentransplantation

Abstract

Bei einem 51jährigen Patienten trat 3 Monate nach einer Nierentransplantation eine Candida-albicans-Sepsis auf, die erfolgreich mit Clotrimazol (Bay b 5097) und 1-[2,4-Dichlor-β-[(2,4-dichlorbenzyl)-oxy]-phenäthyl]-imidazol-nitrat (Miconazole^®) behandelt wurde. Der Fall weist auf die Bedeutung der Frühdiagnose einer derartigen Komplikation durch regelmäßige mykologische Untersuchungen hin. Three months after renal transplantation Candida albicans septicaemia occurred in a 51-year-old patient. It was successfully treated with Clotrimazole and Miconazole^®. The need for serial mycological studies in the early diagnosis of these complications is stressed.
