Unitarization of the BFKL Pomeron on a Nucleus
Abstract
We find an analytical solution of the evolution equation describing all multiple hard pomeron exchanges in a hadronic or nuclear structure functions that was proposed earlier. At moderately high energies the solution for the F_2 structure function grows with energy exactly like the BFKL pomeron. As energy increases, the F_2 structure function given by this solution unitarizes and becomes independent of energy. We also discuss possible applications of the developed technique to diffraction.Keywords
