Abstract
Changes occur in both the sign and magnitude of E2:M1 multipole mixing ratios for different types of transition upon crossing from 'spherical vibrational' (Nor=90) nuclei. Experimental results are compared with the predictions of the dynamic deformation theory. The sign changes in delta arise from a sign change in the M1 matrix element. The sources of such a change are discussed. Keywords
