Abstract
The trunk dermatomes Th10-L4 were isolated in cats by the method of remaining sensitivity. They were found to be irregular strips. Sympathectomy caused in the dermatomes Th10-L3 a loss of pain sensitivity in a small area situated on the cranioventral border of the dermatomes. It was concluded that in the trunk region afferent fibers for the skin or the skin vessels traverse the sympathetic chain. Keywords
