Bragg Optics of a Logarithmic Spiral Surface

Abstract
The logarithmic spiral is proposed as the form of the reflection surface of a crystal in X-ray optics. This curve has the special property that the angle between the normal and the radius vector is constant. In optical terms, the angle of incidence or the angle of reflection at any point is constant. Using these properties, we can collect X rays from an extended source to a point.
