Precalculation of Retention Data in Gas Liquid Chromatography

Abstract
In GC, retention data of any solute in the entire temperature range of the stationary phase can be precalculated; however, the calculation is fairly complex. The questions related to this problem are discussed based on the retention index, the relative retentions incorporated within the retention index, and the net retention volume. Only these values can secure the utilization of data obtained in various laboratories.
