Abstract
Soft magnetic properties have been achieved for Co–X–Cr–O (X=Rh, Ir, Ag, or Au) films including nanoscaled Co grains. It is found that the presence of any additional X not only reduces the coercivity but also enhances the uniaxial anisotropy field of the Co–Cr–O film. A Co65Rh8Cr11O16 film including both the hcp and fcc of nanocrystalline Co shows a low coercivity of 1.6 Oe and a high ferromagnetic resonance frequency of 3.4 GHz. A relative permeability of µ′=90 is obtained at 1 GHz.Keywords
