Abstract
To the Editor: Drs. Proudfit and Forteza, in their article on micturition syncope in the February 12 issue of the Journal, remark that they could find no other reports of this condition. However, a case similar to theirs was reported by Treires in the Journal of the American Medical Association (164:116, 1957).Dr. Treires's case is that of a forty-one-year-old man who suffered four episodes of syncope during a four-month period. All the attacks occurred while he was standing and urinating. The patient felt entirely well immediately after an attack. Physical examination is reported as "entirely negative"; the blood . . .
