Abstract
A novel purification procedure for N-formyl methionyl oligopeptides from bacterial culture supernatants has been developed. C-terminal carboxypeptidase microsequencing of purified peptides fromE. coli supernatants enabled identification of 6 naturally occurring formyl-oligopeptides.Keywords
