Abstract

Some surface acoustic wave characteristics on trigonal La/sub 3/Ga/sub 5/ SiO/sub 14/ crystals were experimentally investigated for several cuts and propagation directions. More than 150 SAW resonators of about 60 cuts have been prepared with resonance frequencies at range 400-700 MHz and its frequency responses were measured at temperature range -40-+80/spl deg/C. Some promising cuts and directions with zero temperature coefficients of resonance frequency were found.
