Abstract
The strength of this membrane is an important factor in the commercial storage of eggs, but it is also of fundamental interest as an index to the complex changes, chemical, physical and bacteriological, taking place in the egg. This paper describes a method for measuring the bursting strength together with a number of observations on the effects of different storage conditions. Keywords
