Abstract
A trial of 6 wk duration was conducted on growing pigs, weighing initially 20.6 kg and fed a semi-purified diet composed of peanut meal and gluten meal. After supplementing with a normal dose of dietary lysine, a tryptophan deficiency was observed, with depressive effects on feed intake and growth performance, as well as a modification in the blood free amino acidemia. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
