Abstract
The analytic properties of the spin‐weighted angular spheroidal functions introduced by Teukolsky are investigated by means of a series involving Jacobi polynomials. This approach facilitates the numerical determination of eigenvalues, particularly in the case of complex frequencies.Keywords
