Abstract
Functionalized gold nanoparticles represent highly attractive and promising candidates in the applications of drug delivery owing to their unique dimensions, tunable functionalities on the surface and controllable drug release. This review illustrates the recent advances in the field of drug delivery using gold nanoparticles as carriers for therapeutic agents.Keywords
