Abstract
The HLA class I genes display significant levels of polymorphism, which is principally due to hypervariable regions located in the second and third exons. To date, 286 HLA-B alleles have been identified and characterised. We describe a new HLA-B*07 allele present in a Cuban Caucasoid individual, which has been officially named HLA-B*0720.Keywords
