Abstract
An attempt was made to induce melanism in Selenia bilunaria by feeding the larvae on hawthorn treated with lead and manganese salts. Six generations totalling 3265 moths were reared. No melanic individuals appeared either in the treated or the control broods. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
