Abstract
A simple, efficient optical arrangement for the laser Doppler velocimeter is described which requires no optical heterodyning alignment, and is extremely quick and easy to set up in experimental work. It has the additional advantages of measuring two-dimensional flows, and ease in traversing the flow systems. The system is stable and insensitive to stress and vibrations. Keywords
