Abstract
Methods for the determination of total fatty cyclopropenoids, by reaction with hydrogen bromide in a benzene medium, are described. Contrary to previous indications this reaction proceeds rapidly at room temperature. The methods presented obviate the undesirable need for the use of elevated temperatures in total cyclopropenoid determinations.Keywords
