Abstract
The experimental difficulties due to reflection from the specimen in measuring excitation spectra of phosphors are discussed. Three new methods allowing the separation of emitted and reflected radiation are proposed. Two are based on periodic excitation and the analysis of resulting signal wave forms. The third is based on a separate measurement of the reflection. Keywords
