Abstract
The occurrence of ciliated stromal cells was determined in the uteri of 36 hamsters during estrus or pseudopregnancy. Cilia were found in 8.1% of stromal cells in estrous hamsters and in 7.9% of stromal cells in pseudopregnant hamsters. Morphologically, cilia found in stromal cells of hamster uteri were similar to nonmotile cilia found in other nonepithelial tissues. Keywords
