Abstract
A technique for obtaining J-resolved NMR spectra of dilute spins in solids has been developed. It is based on the observation that a combination of magic-angle irradiation and magic-angle spinning removes dipolar broadening, but leaves indirect spin–spin coupling. A preliminary application of this technique to adamantane clearly reveals the AX (J = 121 Hz) and AX (J = 135 Hz) multiplets in the methylene and methyne 13C spectrum, respectively. Keywords
