Abstract
High-resolution space- and time-resolved studies of He-like 1s-2p transitions in oxygen and carbon ions have been carried out in TFR Tokamak plasmas. The experimental emissivity profiles have allowed the ratio of intercombination to resonance line intensities to be obtained for both elements as a function of the electron temperature. The experimental ratios have been compared with the values given by a complete collisional-radiative model using the best available atomic data. Keywords
