Vortex dynamics of superfluidHe4-He3mixture films

Abstract
A theoretical model is proposed in this note to describe the interfacial superfluidity of dilute He4-He3 mixture films. The Kosterlitz-Thouless static recursion relations as well as vortex dynamics are extended to mixture films using this model. The period shift and the dissipation of the torsional oscillator near the transition temperature are calculated and compared with experimental results of D. McQueeney et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 52, 1325 (1984).
