Abstract
A serological survey, with the hemagglutination inhibition test and comprising 1,552 sera from female children and teenagers living in Angola, was made to determine the rate of immune response against rubella virus. On the average, 73% of the study population possessed rubella antibody. However, in several areas the percentages of sera with antibody were as low as 60%, 66%, and 69%.Keywords
