Abstract
The prevalence of overweight and obesity in the United States has increased dramatically over the past 2 decades, with 1 in 3 adults currently obese.1 These numbers present a tremendous health care challenge in treatment and cost relating to the many adverse health conditions associated with excess body weight.2,3Keywords
