Abstract
Systems often have limited operating regions at increased drive parameters because of the onset of oscillations and chaos. Chua's circuit is an electronic example of such a system, as it has a nonzero steady-state (d.c.) voltage output before breaking into oscillations and eventually chaos as the drive is increased. Using a new control technique, we are able to keep the system in the steady state in regions for which it would otherwise exhibit oscillations or chaos. Keywords
