Abstract
In female rats daily isoproterenol injections (0.3 mg/kg) produced a 40% myocardial growth within 10 days. Of the total growth, .apprx. 75% was associated with increased muscle fiber size. The number of nuclei in muscle tissue was not affected, while the nuclear population in the interstitial tissue was significantly increased. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
