Abstract
Summary: Rapid absorption of whisky has been demonstrated in subjects who had undergone partial gastrectomy or vagotomy and pyloroplasty. Delayed absorption occurred in patients with the coeliac syndrome. These facts are of social and possibly legal significance.Keywords
