Abstract
Adrenalectomy stimulated incorporation of radioactivity from adenine-8-C14 into total nucleic acid and the RNA of isolated rat diaphragm. Moreover, adrenalectomy increased the actual amount of nucleic acid and of RNA that could be extracted from rat diaphragm. Cortisone administration (2 mg/day) was without effect on incorporation of Cl4 from adenine into nucleic acid or RNA, nor did it influence their amount. Keywords
