Abstract
A discussion is given of some of the properties of liquid and amorphous metals under conditions when the mean free path has its minimum value. The concept of a 'minimum metallic conductivity' is discussed, with applications to expanded fluid mercury and caesium. Then materials with somewhat higher conductivity are mentioned, particularly liquid transition metals. The conditions under which the author's theory for these materials should be valid are described. A qualitative model for a positive Hall constant in liquid alloys is proposed
