Abstract
The interaction of gelatin and radiogold in plasma was investigated by paper electrophoretic methods. Plasma was obtained from humans and rats of the Wistar strain. Gelatin and radiogold added to plasma in vitro formed a radio-gold-gelatin complex with a mobility similar to alpha globulin. Radiogold alone in plasma did not migrate. In vivo studies in rats showed a similar phenomenon. The formation of a gelatin-radiogold complex was associated with a decreased rate of disappearance of radiogold from the circulation. Keywords
